  6.      rchange.tos - change the number of available Fnordadel rooms

  8. SYNOPSIS
  9.      rchange <newsize>

  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.      Rchange will expand or shrink the set of Fnordadel room
  13.      files, roomnnnn.sys.  Give it the desired new size on the
  14.      command line, and rchange will munge away, creating or
  15.      deleting room files as required.  When finished it will rem-
  16.      ind you to change ctdlcnfg.sys accordingly and run
  17.      configur.tos.  If you don't, your system will die a horrible
  18.      death.  Believe it.  "Or not" is not an option.

  20.      Rchange expects to be run from the directory containing your
  21.      ctdltabl.sys file.

  23. OPTIONS
  24.      <newsize>
  25.           The desired new number of rooms.  There can be no fewer
  26.           than 3 active rooms (Lobby>, Mail> and Aide> are non-
  27.           negotiable), and no more than 9999.

  29. NOTES
  30.      If the number of rooms is being decreased, rchange will
  31.      first check the rooms that will have to be deleted, to see
  32.      if they are in use or not.  If any of them are in use,
  33.      rchange will complain and give you the option of aborting
  34.      the operation, or shrinking the number of rooms up to the
  35.      point where the last active room was found.

  37.      Please make a backup before you run this.  Just Do It.

  39.      A future enhancement will allow rchange to shuffle rooms so
  40.      that all active rooms are contiguous.  This will permit
  41.      greater compression than may be possible now.
